Dr Dana Klas, Osteopath
Dana is a strong believer in natural ways to promote health, with an emphasis on finding lifestyle balance. Her ultimate goal as an Osteopath is patient self-management and prevention which encourages an individual to have a good understanding, appreciation and confidence in their own body. She graduated with a Masters degree that focused on the effectiveness and patient understanding of Cranial Osteopathic treatments. Several years ago, Dana began further studies in Biodynamic Osteopathy, attending courses in Australia and abroad. She currently uses this approach to treat all ages, including children.
Dana has a key interest in treating workplace and stress-related injuries including tension headaches and postural strains. She also has experience in treating sports injuries, particular running related and has worked with a variety of sporting groups including elite triathletes, basketball teams and circus performers.
When not in the clinic, Dana enjoys playing the trumpet, improving her Japanese and gymnastic circus arts. Six months ago she learnt to bake sourdough bread and has not bought a loaf of bread since!
